Join Sylvia and Be Inspired to Create Art
Sylvia is a well-known artist and a signature member of the National Watercolor Society and owned the Art Box Studio. Since she opened the studio in 1993, she has hosted many art workshops that featured various famous artists.
Beside hosting workshops, Sylvia also established the “ MONDAY OPEN STUDIO,” which dedicated studio time, lure area artists to hone their painting skills under Sylvia’s generous and capable leadership. Artists of all skills, beginner to advanced, find the Monday Open Studio offering a peaceful place to work, share art with friends, and expand as a creative individual and thriving artist.
However, due to the pandemic, she was unable to host art workshops or hold her MONDAY OPEN STUDIO sessions. Therefore, Sylvia had no choose but to close her Art Box Studio after 27 years of providing art instruction.
But with encouragement from her dedicated MONDAY OPEN STUDIO students, Sylvia created new art instructional session online. These online art sessions are called “Monday Online Art Sessions”. The new online art sessions have allowed Sylvia to continue sharing her creative skills and art philosophies to her dedicated students online.
So now Mondays are a special day for Sylvia. It is a day when all artists with different skill levels gather online for an open session under Sylvia Megerdichian NWS guidance. Sylvia does not consider her sessions as pure instruction, because she always encourages her students to find their own style and artist voice.
Sylvia’s wants each person to grew as much as they can as an artist, in their own way.
